A life-long Philadelphian, Courtney graduated from Central High School in 1991 with an AB Degree and then matriculated with a scholarship to the University of Delaware, where she studied engineering and then political science. Courtney is the proud mother of five kids, and lives in Pine Hill, New Jersey with her husband, an operating engineer.
Courtney began working in the legal field while still in high school, working as a receptionist/file clerk. In 1998, she began her full time legal career, working as a secretary and rising to paralegal in 2007. As a paralegal at Myers Lafferty, Courtney works directly with the attorneys to map out deposition strategy, and works with both the attorneys and the clients to prepare and answer discovery requests, draft and file motions, obtain medical records, prepare medical chronologies, and obtain expert reports.
