Mike was an employee of Amtrak for sixteen years, from 1976 to 1992. He worked as a machine operator, truck driver, track inspector, heavy equipment operator, and welder. In 1992, Mike left the railroad as a result of an on-duty injury, but he maintains close ties to Amtrak and other railroads.
Mike has been with Myers Lafferty since the firm’s inception and is an important member of our team. As the firm’s chief investigator, Mike has investigated accidents with our transportation attorneys on behalf of injured employees of every major railroad on the Eastern Seaboard.
As an injured railroader himself, Mike experienced firsthand the pain and uncertainty faced by our clients and their families. He has quite literally walked in our clients’ shoes. Because of that, Mike approaches each of our cases with compassion, understanding, and a special determination to see that our clients win the compensation they deserve.
